Finn and Mom do Yoga

Tuscon 2009

Another dreamy visit to Grandma and Grandpa's house in Arizona. Finn loved flying in the big airplane, and kept us all busy for the week swimming, hiking, going to museums, and hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa.

Madera Canyon

We love going on hikes in the canyon. On this trip Grandpa taught Finn how to dam up the creek.

The Desert Museum

Riding the javelinas was a highlight.

Finn's having a fun, a really really fun day at the museum.

Ducking watching with Grandma.

Cold Day

Nothing to do but check out the puddles and heat up this chilly day with Lighting McQueen.

Leaving rubber on Greenwiew.

The Train at the Tuscon Zoo

Finn went ape when he saw this. He started to hyper-ventilate when we asked if he wanted to ride it. We rode it twice, once coming in to the zoo, once going out.

The conductor, who encouraged us to yell "ALL ABOARD" on departure. Of course we did, and we were the loudest and most spirited car in the line-up.

Finn's favorite car. He chose this one both times.

No excursion was complete without the ice cream.

Madera Canyon - Last Day

Finn was very proud of his walking stick...just like Grandpa's. We are on our way to our favorite rock-throwing spot which we will visit each year. It's a dreamy spot just right for a picnic and a lazy day in the sun next to the creek.

Swimming at the Pool

Well, it was in the 60's or so most swimming days, and after swimmning we bundled in our robes and ran home teeth chattering. But the pool was 89 degrees, so it was very comfortable once in. Each day ended with Finn throwing the landscape rocks into the pool and Mom and Grandma had to dive to retrieve them.

...awesome pec's.

Finn's first excursion floating on his own.

Finn love launching in the pool over and over and being caught by Grandma or Mom's tired arms.
